Subject  : Declaration on Clarification of Softex Product Certification

Based on information obtained by BIOCert, the BIOCert logo was found in an advertisement for Softex betel leaf products on the Softexpedia YouTube channel with the video title "Sofia & Pak Sofian | Very Big Certificate" (https://youtu.be/akhFO9ygfU4?si=lrnCpurX43ecrbkZ).

We, PT BIOCert Indonesia, hereby declare that we have never provided organic certification for the organic Softex product, which PT Softex Indonesia claims is certified organic by PT BIOCert Indonesia.

We have investigated and confirmed that the supplier of the betel leaf in the Softex product is indeed our client, PT Merpati Mahardika. After communicating with PT Merpati Mahardika, it was confirmed that PT Merpati Mahardika supplies processed betel leaf products to PT Softex Indonesia without an organic claim.

Based on our investigation and confirmation with our client, we firmly state that the Softex product is not certified organic by PT BIOCert Indonesia. Furthermore, Softex products are not included in the food or plant product categories covered by PT BIOCert Indonesia's certification program.

We are making this statement to clarify and correct the information circulating.
