To market organic products in the European Union, producers, groups of producers, processors, traders, and exporters must comply with EU Regulation 2018/848 and its implementing regulations, and be certified organic by a certification body recognized by the European Commission.
Producers, processors, traders, and exporters who have complied with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 can claim their products as organic and can use the EU organic label.
