BIOCert Provide Organic Certification Based On COR-NOP Equivalence Organic Standard for Export to North America (U.S. and Canada)
To market organic products to North America (the United States and Canada), farms, producer groups, processors, traders, and exporters must comply with the Canadian Organic Standards (Canadian Organic Production Systems Standards: General Principles and Management Standards and Permitted Substances Lists) or the USDA National Organic Program.
All products certified organic under the Canada Organic Regime can be sold as organic products in the United States and use the USDA ORGANIC label based on the United States-Canada Organic Equivalence Arrangement (USCOEA). Information about the equivalence agreement between Canada and the United States can be found HERE.
Farms, producer groups, processors, traders, and exporters that meet BOAS and are certified by BIOCert can use the European Organic logo and the ORGANIK Indonesia logo on their organic product packaging and other promotional materials, allowing their products to be sold in Europe and Indonesia.
