BIOCert Provide Organic Certification Based On COR-NOP Equivalence Organic Standard for Export to North America (U.S. and Canada)
To market organic products in North America (the United States and Canada), farms, producer groups, processors, traders, and exporters must comply with either the Canadian Organic Standards or the USDA National Organic Program.
Products that are certified organic under the Canada Organic Regime can also be sold as organic in the United States and use the USDA ORGANIC label under the United-States-Canada Organic Equivalence Arrangement (USCOEA). Information about the equivalence arrangement between Canada and the United States can be found HERE.
Farms, producer groups, processors, traders, and exporters that meet the above standards and are certified by BIOCert may use the COR Organic and/or NOP logos on their organic product packaging and promotional materials.
